God has made his children, by adoption, nearer to himself than the angels. The angels are the friends of Christ; believers are his members.

I have four children. Two are adopted. I forget which two.

Don’t wait. The timing will never be just right.

And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

Anyone who doesn’t have experience with adoption wonders, ‘Does love for a child come through DNA?’ I knew it didn’t.

God knew that it doesn’t matter how your children get to your family. It just matters that they got there.
