The Earth is blue... how wonderful. It is amazing

So I decided on science when I was in college.

That's something that is almost part of being human and I'm certain that will continue.

I slept just floating in the middle of the flight deck, the upper deck of the space shuttle.

I liked math - that was my favourite subject - and I was very interested in astronomy and physical science.

I am watching the Earth. The visibility is good. I feel well and cheerful. The machine is functioning normally.

I feel fine. How about you?

If all those people are getting wet to welcome me, surely the least I can do is get wet too!

I see Earth! It is so beautiful.

Looking at the earth from afar you realize it is too small for conflict and just big enough for co-operation.

Science has not yet mastered prophecy. We predict too much for the next year and yet far too little for the next 10.

Now and then I miss the excitement about being in the cockpit of an airplane and doing new things.
