If you begin to understand what you are without trying to change it, then what you are undergoes a transformation.

Without understanding the process of the self, there is no bais for thought, there is no basis for right thinking.

Without freedom from the past, there is no freedom to all.

Meditation, then, is a state of mind in which the 'me' is absent. And therefore that very absence brings order.
